She has a specialisation in designing for home offices, playrooms, and young children's rooms, with a focus on sensory items (that are NDIS-approved). Claire has a unique ability to source and recommend products and solutions that once added to your home or business you will wonder how you did without it. At Room Rituals, she is passionate and committed to creating functional and inviting living spaces for all her clients.

Why Hire a Design Consultant?

Hiring an interior design consultant is easy and a similar process to hiring an interior decorator or interior stylist. If you are deciding to hire a professional, you want to make sure you are selecting the right one for your project requirements. 

And, a design consultant can be more cost-effective and efficient than hiring an interior designer. With a design consultant, you get the benefit of receiving advice from an experienced professional without needing to commit to a long-term renovation where you are also dealing with permits, architects or project managers, or other technical matters.

Engaging a design consultant is when you want to change the look of the room rather than changing the floor plan by knocking out walls or adding additions that require structural changes.

The designer will then work with you to create a custom design plan tailored to your unique style and preferences. This includes selecting colors, fabrics, and furniture, as well as overseeing the installation process.

Hiring a Design Consultant - What is the process?
  1.  Book a 30-minute Discovery call or complete your details below in "contact us" ​

  2.  Once we have received your form, a welcome pack will be sent to you, this will have all you need to know about our services and pricing.

  3. Client Consultation (phone or zoom) to see if there are any other further questions you may have about your project. This is when we confirm a time and place to complete the design process or deliver E- Design service.

  4. A brief design plan together with a quote and a contract will be forwarded to you to agree to, sign and return. A deposit of $65 is also required at this time.

  5. Onsite service or E-Design Service.

  6.  The remaining payment is paid at completion on-site or once E-Design Service plan has been handed over.

E-DESIGN SERVICE

E-Design is an interior design consultancy service that allows you to work with me remotely. Our E-Design Service provides you with the convenience of having an individual design plan created for your space without having to leave the comfort of your own home. You receive personalised guidance, advice, and customized product/colour recommendations to help you create the perfect space. We will create a custom design plan tailored to your needs complete with a shopping list.

DESIGN FEES

We offer two options for working with us: an hourly rate for ongoing projects, or a fixed rate - half or full-day rates for a single project. 

Hourly Rate - $65

Our fixed hourly rate service gives clients the confidence of knowing exactly what they will pay for their project. We provide a detailed scope and an estimate of hours, letting clients know upfront what they can expect to pay. The price is based on how many hours of work the scope will take. This is charged to the client as billable hours in blocks of hours at key stages of the design process, with an initial deposit of $65 at the signing of a contract and the total cost, including the number of revisions.  

Daily Rates- Half Day - $225 (3.5 hours)

Our half-daily rate fixed fee service is an ideal solution for those looking for quick and cost-effective interior design consultancy. We will provide you with a flat fee of half a day's worth of design consultation, make recommendations and offer advice to ensure you get the best design solution for your space. A mood board, cost estimate, and brief design plan can be added and will be charged at an hourly rate in addition to this service and delivered to you within 48 hours of the appointment. One revision is included, any extra are charged at $25 per revision.

Daily Rates- Full Day - $455 (7 hours)

Our full-day rate fixed fee service is ideal for those looking to completely transform a space. We'll walk through your home or business in person or virtually to discuss your needs, research solutions, make recommendations, and offer advice to ensure you get the best design solution for your space, in addition, you will have access to me for the full day to answer any design questions.

 

This service can be split between on-site at the client's home or business, the remainder of the hours are off-site to complete design, mood board, cost estimate, and brief design plan. Delivered to you within 48 hours of appointment. One revision is included, any extra is charged at $25 per revision.
